Synopsis: A Dog Ear Publishing Review. Richard Caruthers “Rich” Little (born November 26, 1938) is a Canadian-American impressionist and voice actor. He has been nicknamed “The Man of a Thousand Voices”. “People I’ve Known and Been: Little by Little” is the story of his life and the people he’s met with, worked with, laughed with, and occasionally commiserated with. Rich Little has spent time with such luminaries as Jack Benny, Johnny Carson, George Burns, Dean Martin, and Richard Nixon. These and so many others were the subjects for Rich’s consummate impersonations.

Critique: Exceptionally well written, organized and presented, “Little by Little: People I’ve Known and Been” is an inherently fascinating and impressively informative read from cover to cover. While very highly and unreservedly recommended for both community and academic library Contemporary American Biography collections, it should be noted for personal reading lists that “Little by Little: People I’ve Known and Been” is also available in a paperback edition (9781457544392, $24.95) and in a digital book format (Kindle, $9.99).
